God the Father loves every person in this world and has given to us as Savior His only Son, Jesus. Jesus loves us so much that He died on the cross to save us. The Holy Spirit works in our hearts to convince us that this is so and urges us to believe. Once we accept Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit remains with us, in our hearts. He guides us in living the Christian life. He leads us to witness to others about the amazing grace of God. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. ”
The evidence is clear. God loves us. And we love Him because He first loved us. There is no greater love than the love of God for us.
We sing hymns that express our love for the Lord. One of those hymns is, “Oh, How I Love Jesus.” There are nine verses to this hymn, but only four are printed here. We love to sing about loving the Lord.
To believers, the name of Jesus is the sweetest name on earth. The mention of His name stirs our hearts to praise Him, expressing thanks for His incredible love for us all.
