What would you change?

In the first modern movie about Superman, he arrives at the scene of Lois’ death too late to save her. He then zooms at terrifically fast speeds around the earth, reversing its rotation and thereby turning back time to a few moments before Lois’ tragic accident. Arriving before the time of the incident, he saves his sweetheart. He turned back time.
A popular Sci-Fi series, “Seven Days,” features a big blue globe that can go back in time seven days. Time and again the chrononaut goes back 7 days to prevent a disaster or a death.
If you could go back in time, what would you try to change?
I think I would want to .. oops, I almost told you. But this blog is not about me, it’s about you. If you could turn back time, what would you do? Cher has a song that answers that question: “If I could turn back time, If I could find a way, I’d take back those words that hurt you..” Would you want to go back and refuse to say or do something that hurt somebody?
I remember a speech made by my daughter, Dianna, at her high school graduation. The title of it was, “No Regrets.” As I recall, she called upon her classmates to live their lives so they would have “no regrets.” Pretty good advice, right? At least from this point on, you can live your life making the right choices so that if that future day arrives when you can turn back time, you’ll say, “Never mind.”
