We Had A Wedding

Next week I am marrying my best friend. While we have not actively sought to conceal this information, we have not gone out of our way to disseminate it either. We tend to be social media observers. Maybe in an effort to keep a sense of self-serving vanity at arm’s length. Or maybe our crotchety reclusiveness is perfectly reflected in one another, undermining the appeal all together. Regardless, there are no words I could possibly string together to convey my level of elation. Anyone who knows us knows that, cliché as it may sound, our union is purely serendipitous. Some days I still don’t know just how I got here. Surely, I am a lucky man.
