TGIA

Chas.suit.1.jpgJuly 10, 2015 (Friday)
It’s Friday. Many people woke up this morning and said, “TGIF” (“Thank God It’s Friday”), because they are glad their work week is almost over. But many older folks woke up thinking, “TGIA” (“Thank God I’m Alive”).
Age teaches us many things, I suppose, but perhaps its greatest lesson is appreciation of life itself. Each of us can wake up each day and say with sincerity, “This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
“Give to the world the best that you have, and the best will come back to you.” *
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” **
“Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it again after many days.” ***
“Make a habit of focusing on all the things you’re grateful for and you will open         &nbsp    yourself up to experiencing the beauty of life.” ****
