Vital Verses

Remember Mother Goose? Here’s one of her rhymes:

Thirty days have September,
April, June, and November;
February has 28 alone,
All the rest have 31;
Except leap year, that’s the time,
When February’s days are 29.

So, the rhyme specifically refers to today’s date. Feburary 28.
I counted 29 different versions of this little poem in the Wikipedia article about it.
How old were you when you first learned this little verse to help you remember how many days are in each month? Probably very young. If you are like most people, you occasionally recite it to yourself.
Bible students have found out that certain verses help them to remember very important things, like this one, for example: “Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. (Psalm 37:3 KJV).
Many people have found other verses extremely helpful, like this one: “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee” (Psalm 56:3 KJV).:

Thirty days hath September,
Every day we should remember:
“Trust the Lord and have no fear,
He’ll lead us well each day this year.”
