Whatcha Doin’ This Christmas?

December 17, 2019 (Tuesday)

One week from today we will be observing Christmas Eve. Many families exchange gifts on Christmas Eve, and observe the evening with a family reunion, lots of pictures, and plenty of goodies.

If you want to do something this very day, one week early, you might consider Branson, Missouri.
“Miracle of Christmas,” a dramatic musical can be seen today at 7:30 p.m. at Sight and Sound Theater.
“Acrobats on Ice” can be seen today at 8:00 p.m. at the White House Theater.
“Amazing Acrobats of Shanghai” has shows at 3:00 p.m and 8:00 p.m. at Mickey Gilley’s Grand Shanghai Theatre.
“Branson Murder Mystery Christmas Show at the Majestic Theater at 4:00 p.m.
And on and on they go, family entertainment at Branson, almost 20 different theaters and exciting shows that offer something for everyone. “https://bransonticketstore.com/branson-mo/shows/tickets/MiracleofChristmasShowTickets/Tuesday-December-17-2019-3:30PM-7:30PM_795278.html”

Or, maybe you prefer a quiet week at home with family members you may not have seen for a while.

Whatever you are going to do, do it because you have only a week, then Christmas Day, then..it’s over.

Your family can serve others this week before Christmas in several ways, among which are: deliver cookies to employees at fire stations, police stations,  hospitals, etc. or choose a child’s name off  a giving tree and pick out the gift together as a family, pool some money to buy a tank of gas for a friend or relative who can’t afford to go home for Christmas.  Discover what people are doing for others.  Maybe you would enjoy doing things like this, too.

At the close of each Tuesday blog I write about the presidents, in the order of their service.

Today’s president is
Franklin Pierce – The 14th President

The next president we will present will be James Buchanan (January 7, 2020).
