The words of the Bible were written over a period of thousands of years. Ancient words, yes, but like our Savior, very much alive this very day!
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NASB).
