Time for You to..

February is special in that it has fewer days than any other month. Because of that, it is part of a Mother Goose nursery rhyme that many of us learned in school a long, long time ago:

Thirty days hath September,
April, June and November.
All the rest have thirty-one,
Excepting February alone,
And that has twenty-eight days clear
And twenty-nine in each leap year.

Today, February 28, is the last day of February, 2019. It will never be seen again. At midnight tonight, when the clock chimes, the month we are in will be March, 2019.
February came. It was here. It went. It’s gone. Forever. And ever. And ever. And ever. We will never again have the time we had during the last 28 days. How did you spend those days?
How will you spend tomorrow? What if it becomes the final day you will have on earth. Do you remember what the Bible says: “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring” (Proverbs 27:1 NIV).
I always get a cold chill when I read the story Jesus told us about a man who was so rich and successful he felt the need to build new buildings to store all his possessions. That was O.K., but he messed up when he forgot the warning of Proverbs 27:1. He said to himself: “relax, eat, drink, be merry.”‘ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ (Luke 19:20 ESV).
When Jesus promised to come suddenly to earth again, every eye shall see him. When He made that promise, He also warned us that His Coming Again signals judgment. The faithful will be commended and rewarded, and the unfaithful will be rebuked. (Matthew 25:24-30). What if it were today? Would you be ready?
