I can never see the date, November 22, without thinking of that fateful day in 1963 when unbridled hatred seized the day and a young president was silenced forever with a rifle’s bullet. Hard to believe that was 55 years ago.
This is Thanksgiving Day, and the Bible teaches me to “Be thankful in all things.” That spiritual advice never gets out of date. It is always proper to give thanks, no matter what the circumstances may be.
