Many scholars believe that Psalm 9 and Psalm 10 belong together, because the verses are in acrostic form, with every other verse beginning with a letter of the Hebrew alphabet*, in order, continuing from Psalm 9 through Psalm 10.
Psalm 9 concerns itself with foreign enemies. Psalm 10 takes a stern look at domestic foes who mistreat God’s people.
