Recently on “Gospel Classics” (on PBS), I saw an old program that featured the late Ruth Graham (wife of Billy Graham), who was raised in China as part of a missionary family. I heard her say that she loved the hymn, “In Tenderness He Sought me.” She quoted the chorus and then said, “I was brought up on that: “O the love that sought me, O the blood that bought me, O the grace that brought me to the fold, His wondrous grace that brought me to the fold.” What amazing words!
