Answer quickly! Who was the commander of the second mission to the moon?
If you can answer correctly without much thought, you are among a select few.
It is in the “Second Man on the Moon” classification that December 26, the day after Christmas, finds itself. Christmas day has come and gone.

Now we experience the day after. Today it’s leftovers. Time to gather up the torn ribbons and wrappings, consigning them to the trash heap. Christmas is (almost) over. I say, “almost,” because the tree and decorations will probably hang around a few days, although some folks take them down immediately. And it will take a little time for the spirit of Christmas to go away.
There is nothing special about “the day after.”
Which begs the question (in song) “What are you doing New Years? New Years Eve?
The week between Christmas and the New Year is an “in-between” time in most people’s lives. What are your plans for this “in-between” week?
If you cannot bear the thought of an insignificant day, then think: “Today is the first day of the rest of my life,” a very special day indeed. Just how special will be up to me. And you.

TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE!
