Weekday Blogs Only

September 25, 2021 (Saturday)

The blog today is the last blog published on a weekend. Beginning Monday, all my blogs will be published on weekdays only, following a generally accepted schedule adopted by many bloggers.

My first weekend blogs were published in May of 2007, when I was Interim Pastor at First Baptist Church, Rockport. After about a year, I discontinued the weekend blogs until the year 2015, when I started writing a blog every day of the week.

The new weekday-only blog will begin Monday with a poem based on my seeing a cottage in Colorado and “The Woman at the Well” in the gospel of John.

At any time you may read any of the blogs I have published through the years by consulting the “Archives” at the end of each blog. The archives begin with a “Search Box.” Enter any info you like and the program should point you to a blog of interest.

Frankly, I’m not at all sure I will continue writing blogs in the future. Perhaps nearly 5,000 is enough. I will be repeating some of the older blogs from time to time. Some days there may be no new blog at all. I hope you don’t mind.

As stated above, the next blog (“Free Flowing Water”) will be published day after tomorrow (Monday).

Today my family is giving me a 90th Birthday Party.
