Thanks to the Lord

Today’s blog is the first since I concluded a three-months series on the books of the Bible. Almost every blog kept to the subject and hardly any of the blogs alluded to normal everyday life and stuff that was happening in my life. Today I’ll mention some of that stuff.
About a year and a half ago I noticed a peculiar feeling in my throat. It kept coming back and getting worse so after a year or so I went to the doctor about it. He tested my blood , put me on some medicine and prescribed an ultra sound test of my thyroid. Later he sent me to a place where they let me drink barium and took xray pictures of my swallowing it. Finally I went to a specialist who put a fiber optic scope through my nostril so he could take a look at my throat. The several exams found some small abnormalities but nothing to be concerned about.
As determined as I have been to discover a bad problem, seems I’ve been found reasonably healthy, except for a few symptoms evidently due to too many birthdays. I have much for which to be thankful.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song (Psalm 28:7).
