Second Thessalonians was written from Corinth, not long after the writing of First Thessalonians. The purpose of the letter was to encourage patience as they awaited the Second Coming of Christ. He felt that they may have misinterpreted his first letter to them. The letter is brief–the shortest he ever wrote to a church.
Second Thessalonians – a devotional thought
