Graduation

Today our grand daughter, Chloe Hinze, graduates from high school. We have nine grandkids; she is the youngest. There are about 1,000 people in her graduating class at The Woodlands High School.
Chloe plans to go to college at Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas.
Two of Chloe’s cousins have completed their college education: Melinda Fake Hodges, graduated from Texas State and has since earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Texas. Andy Hamm graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk in December, is employed and living in Virginia.
Seven of our grandchildren will be in college in the fall. Chloe’s brother Sean, her cousin Alex Hamm, and his brother Austin have all been attending Lone Star Community College in The Woodlands but when the fall semester starts, Sean will be in Sam Houston State in Huntsville, Alex will be in The Art Institute in Austin, and Austin will remain at Lone Star. Jennifer Fake Haden (who has been attending University of Houston) will be in college in Hawaii, where her Navy Lieutenant husband, Stephen, will be assigned for the next few years. Jennifer’s brother, Michael Fake, is enrolled at A&M Corpus Christi. Angela Fake has been a student at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln but recently began attending classes in Omaha.
The preceding paragraph is intended for my closest friends, who, I hope, are interested. For the rest of you, I’m just being “Grandpa” and didn’t even ask if you would like to hear about my grandkids. Wouldja? Didja? Willya?
