Boy, what a Monday in the stock market, huh? I haven’t seen anything like it since, uh…2008-2009. Today may bring more of the same.
Evidently the driving force of the current crash is almost totally psychological. Sadly, the results are in the real world and not just in our minds and emotions.
A number of scriptures come to my mind today:
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3 KJV).
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1 KJV).
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10 KJV).
“The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7 KJV).
And many others. Please look them up.*
And don’t forget that grand old hymn:
“Be not dismayed, whate’er betide, God will take care of you.
Beneath his wings of love abide, God will take care of you.”
