God is present at all times and in all places and in each believer. What are we talking about, then, when we speak of special experiences of life when we are “in God’s presence?”
God’s Spirit lives within those who believe in Him (John 14:23). We do not need to go somewhere special to seek His presence, but are called to worship Him and live guided by His Spirit who lives within us.
We all know, as God’s children, that there are special moments in our lives when we feel God’s presence. It is a spiritual experience as we draw near to God. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). It is an experience something like Jacob experienced at Bethel when he said, “Surely the Lord is in this place.” He felt the extraordinary presence of God.
I’m sure you have had such experiences, when you felt as though your heart strings were vibrating in tune with God Himself. If not, keep on drawing near to God and He will make His presence known to you.
