December 3, 2019 (Tuesday)
Here we are, in between Thanksgiving and Christmas, an annual celebration that one Christmas song calls, “the most wonderful time of the year.”
There was spooky Halloween, family-oriented Thanksgiving, and now, “Christmas,” only 3 weeks away, but celebrated throughout December every year.
Singing is appropriate at Christmas. After all, the birth of Christ was announced by the singing of angels and glad tidings of great joy. “Joy to the world, the Lord has come!”
We will be singing and hearing joyful songs for a while. Aren’t you glad? There is nothing quite like this glorious time of the year.
The shepherds heard the message, went to Jesus and then to others, telling the good news. We can do the same.
At the close of each Tuesday blog I will write about the presidents, in the order of their service.
