Members of the body of Christ

The human body is a wonder to behold. All the parts complement each other. Each part is a member of the body. The New Testament picks up on this as a fitting picture of the church, the body of Christ. Every member is a part of that body. Each member is part of the other. We, as members of the church, are members of one another.
Here are twelve suggestions for members of a church:
1. Love one another
2. Accept one another
3. Bear one another
4. Forgive one another
5. Be kind to one another
6. Build up one another
7. Honor one another
8. Encourage one another
9. Confess to one another
10. Pray for one another
11. Comfort one another
12. Serve one another
On the night before he was crucified, Jesus dressed as a slave and washed the feet of his disciples, teaching them and us, by his own personal example, to love and serve one another.
