Heaven’s Joy Awaits

The Gaither Vocal Band teams up with Ernie Haas and Signature to produce some exciting songs full of enthusiasm and joy.
Charles Haddon Spurgeon longed for Heaven because: 1.Jesus Christ is there. 2.Family and friends are there. 3.Christian heroes are there. 4.Perfect holiness is there. 5.Safety and security are there. 6.Rewards for faithfulness are there. 7. Marriage (of Christ and His bride, the Church) is there.
The staff of the Spurgeon Center published the following: In 1883, Charles Spurgeon was sitting on a bench in Menton, France, when a pale, emaciated woman sat down beside him. “I am so afraid to die!” she said. Spurgeon tried to cheer her up, saying, “Let me tell you what will probably happen to you; you will most likely go to bed some night, and you will wake up in Heaven.”
Not long after, the woman died in her sleep, just as Spurgeon predicted. Her husband wrote Spurgeon a letter thanking him for comforting his wife before her midnight passing.
Spurgeon reminded his congregation, “What we know about heaven is that it is in the presence of God.”
“You will never have your heart in heaven till you have heaven in your heart.”

Lyrics for Heaven’s Joy Awaits by Gaither Vocal Band

When We Leave This Low Land
We Will Cross The Jordan
Pass This Chilling Torrent
Heaven’s Joy Awaits
Heaven Is Just Beyond The Blue Horizon
Just Above The Starry Sky, Starry Blue Sky
Far Above This Land Of Sorrow
Way Above Each Tear And Sigh, Every Sigh
Just A Few More Miles Before Us
Just A Little While To Wait, Patiently Wait
Soon We’ll Sing Redemptions Chorus
Heaven’s Joy Awaits, Heaven Awaits
Heaven’s Breeze Is Blowing
Gently To Recalling
I Will Soon Be Going
Through The Pearly Gates
Heaven Is Just Beyond The Blue Horizon
Just Above The Starry Sky, Starry Blue Sky
Far Above This Land Of Sorrow
Way Above Each Tear And Sigh, Every Sigh
Just A Few More Miles Before Us
Just A Little While To Wait, Patiently Wait
Soon We’ll Sing Redemptions Chorus
Heaven’s Joy Awaits, Heaven Awaits
