Heavenly Sunlight

We have had a hot summer so far and more heat is predicted. Today, July 15, marks the mid-point of the three summer months of June, July and August. The sun will most likely make its appearance today and we will feel its life-giving warmth.
Earthly sunlight gives life, and so does “Heavenly Sunlight,” which is a picture of God’s presence in our lives, flooding our souls with his love and mercy, and filling our hearts with his holy presence.
“Heavenly Sunlight” was written by Henry J. Zelley (1859-1942). Music added by George Harrison Cook. Charles E. Fuller was fond of singing a version of the chorus of this song he called, “Heavenly Sunshine,” on the wonderful old radio program, “Old Fashioned Revival Hour.”
