The picture below was published last week on Facebook by Laura Pogue Duprie, as a tribute to her wonderful parents, Dale and Ann Pogue. I call it “a perfect picture,” because it is such a natural pose of both of them. It also captures their devotion to Bird Watching, with the binoculars in his hand. Her adoring gaze at her husband of more than 57 years is precious and reflects the deep love and appreciation each of them holds for the other. Hundreds of people responded to the post on Facebook, stating their love for this wonderful couple. What a privilege for me to counted among their hundreds (perhaps thousands) of friends all over the world.
