MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Dreaming of a white Christmas? Ten years ago everyone in South Texas woke up to a picture postcard scene because a big snow covered the area. Rockport itself had a lot of snow, as this photo of the harbor shows.

The forecast for tomorrow is clear skies and a high temperature of 67. Anyway, weather aside, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and I wish for you and all yours a wonderful new year to come.

Happiness is never to be found in what’s going on around us; happiness is a matter of the heart. So I pray you will be happy in 2015. But before that, I pray you are happy in the Lord today. I plan to preach a sermon next Sunday that I love to preach: “Fear Not!” The Scriptures remind us that perfect love casts out fear. So, Merry Christmas, everyone, and Happy New Year!
