You might find an enjoyable experience this evening if you go a place where you can look for the moon rising above a body of water.
The Rockport beach area gives an excellent view of the beautiful October moon above Aransas Bay.
Thinking about the moon brings to mind several songs.
Here are samples of a few:

Incidentally the moon appears to be larger when it is first rising, but they tell us that
is an illusion, that it is just as large when high in the sky as it is near the horizon. If
you watch the moonrise, then, you will be seeing an illusion (a free magic show).
