What’s your favorite?

According to a recent study published in the British Medical Journal, chocolate may lower the risk of heart disease by 37%. That’s the best news some folks have heard in years.
Wanda and I visited Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1997, when we took a little drive from Rhode Island to Maryland, through Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania. Our stop in Hershey was, of course, to see the headquarters and production facilities of the famous Hershey delectable delights. Upon leaving the building, we were ushered through a giant food court of sorts, selling every conceivable kind of Hershey product. People flock through that room every day; perhaps the latest findings of health advantages will increase their sales.
What are your favorite chocolate products?
As a kid I really did love chocolate snaps. No frills, nothing fancy. Just plain old chocolate cookies. M-m-m good.
Of course, chocolate ice cream was always a favorite, too, although even at a nickel for a cone, a little out of my league in its price.
On our trip to Nashville in 1988, I was introduced to Goo Goo bars. Oh, boy, what a treat. They taste good anywhere, but are especially tasty in Nashville, Tennessee.
Before I heard about Goo Goo bars, I was entranced by Millionaires. Wow, what a candy treat.
I could go on and on. As I have grown older, it seems to me that chocolate sometimes brings on a headache. Is it worth the risk? You be the judge. I’m willing to make the sacrifice for the sake of my heart.
