There is a T.V. program called “The Mentalist.” He is not a fortune teller or psychic; he is simply very observant. He can tell whether you are lying by your eyes, your posture, etc. You don’t need to confess to him; he knows. They call him, “The Mentalist.”
There are people like that all over the world. Those in their domain try to hide the truth or, if there’s no other way out of it, to lie. These people I’m talking about already know whether you are lying. They seem to know what you’ve been doing and why you did it. They call these people, “mothers.”
When you grow up and marry, you meet another person with similar powers. People of this type seem to know what you are thinking, no matter what you say. You can’t really hide anything from them; they know all about it. When the time is right, they will tell you what they know through their sixth sense. They call these people, “wives.”
The show, “The Mentalist,” is no doubt based upon the experience of some little boy who grew up and became a husband. The writer probably made his character a male because he was afraid to tell the true identity of the models after whom he patterned his “Mentalist.”
