Ann, you are the epitome of dignity and grace. Being around you makes people want to love God more and live in the light of His love. Thank you for being my friend, and thank you for freely sharing yourself and Dale with others, including me. You both are like God’s Word: “a light unto my path.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TROY!

Still Active in the Lord’s Work

Troy Conner, you and I met as we entered the third grade in 1939. I changed schools and the next time I saw you, we had both moved and were in the 5th grade and lived within a block of each other. So, today, we can say we have known each other 81 years. You’ll be 89 today and I will follow 6 weeks later. You, Troy, and your family led me to Christ and influenced my life choices. Our friendship became close for the rest of our lives. Happy Birthday, Troy! I am so happy you and Ruth have found places of service in a church that means so much to you. May you both enjoy many more years of happiness.

Happy Birthday, Ruth!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RUTH!
AUGUST 7, 2020

Here you are at Westbury Baptist Church, posing with a group of workers in the church. You are never one to sit and watch; you have always been a part of the action. While staying involved in the Lord’s work, you have been a devoted wife, a great mother and a wonderful grandmother. It’s an outstanding honor to be counted as one of your many friends.
